Scrapbooking

This week I made my first scrapbook page. It was a goodbye gift for a daycare friend of my 3 year old son. She turned 4 and is off to school now. I thought this would me a nice souvenir to remember him by. The Alphabeth Stack would have been more appropriate, but I didn't order that yet. I used a Barbapapa border to match the shirt she's wearing in the pictures. I just printed it because I discovered that it was too much work to make a cut-file. I pimped the flowers with a glaze pen and used tiny rhinestones to make Barbabella's necklace come alive. The base is from DCWV's Glitter Stack. The fotomats from Core'dinations' Gemstones. In the end there was more than enough glitter and bling to make a little girl smile big.

After that I got the taste of it and next I wanted to create something a little bit less basic. I browsed through my latest pictures a decided my son dressing up as Spiderman was wordt a scrapbook page. So I googled for a Spiderman mask I could convert into a cutfile, placing the pictures in the eyes of the mask. Since I didn't have anything worthwhile to mention, I just used Spiderman's slogan for this page. Ofcourse in the Spiderman font that I also found online. I have to say I'm very proud of my second scrapbook page ever!

For those of you who would like to make this page too, leave me a comment with your e-mailadress and I'll send you the svg's I made.

I'm already working on a third page and I've ordered the Alphabeth Stack to use for my wedding album. Or is that too ambitious for a beginner? Time will tell...
